I was just chatting with my MOM (of all people) and telling her about how I'm going crazy and that I just want to control (grit, grind teeth), and she said,
"Honey, if you try to control you're just going to push him away."
I said, "Woman, please! I don't want to control *him*! I want to control the future!"
